On Mars 20, Xu Qin, the mayor of Shenzhen Municipal, made important instructions on the PMI Report of Manufacturing and Non-manufacturing Industry, compiled by Shenzhen Modern Supply Chain Management Association, in Shenzhen this Feb. He also required related departments to study the report, based on which to analyze the economic situation of the 2016year seriously.
 
PMI, Purchase Manager Index, is an international index which monitors the economy situation and prosperity. The monthly PMI report of manufacturing and non-manufacturing industry in Shenzhen is compiled by the MSCM of our association by means of making lots of surveys.
 
As varies of unfavorable factors at home and abroad expose since 2012, the economy of Shenzhen confronts more and more uncertain factors and it is more and more difficult to study and distinguish the economy trend. Since its debut , the PMI report wins high reputation and praise from many political departments by its precise survey data and accurate content. The report also provides scientific reference for the government to study and distinguish the trend of manufacturing and non-manufacturing industry in Shenzhen.
 
The instructions that Mayor Xu made to PMI report showed his recognition on LSCMA’s industry research. We will make it a chance and work harder. With the support of Shenzhen Modern Supply Chain Management Research Institute, we will continue the consultancy of statistic index and project research for boosting a healthy and fast-developed economy for Shenzhen.
